Eight months after my second retirement last March 2004, the chairmanship of the Board of Elders thru God’s will was placed upon my shoulders. Aside from the fact that the position was entirely new to me, it holds so much expectations, one was to deal with different kinds of personalities in the church organizations and committees.
April 8, 2007, 10 am. At the close of the message, I requested the Pastoral Staff to stand infront of the congregation for a prayer. I even extended my congratulations to all our newly elected and appointed officers, and also invited them to stand up and gather around the Pastoral Staff. It was, indeed, a great joy and privilege for me to pray for all of them and the congregation, not knowing that the Lord has other plans for me and for my pastoral ministry.
And now, here I am, your Senior Pastor, still seeking for God’s very purpose why He brought me back here. But I am glad to work with all of you again for the Lord’s glory!
I am convinced that we all believe in the importance of teamwork or partnership in the Lord’s ministry. Am I right? As I Corinthians 3:9a says, “We work together as partners who belong to God” (NLT). We know that it is not just a good thing; in fact it is very essential. It involves close cooperation and working together to achieve our common vision, mission, and goals.
Teamwork can happen within a ministry. Amen? It is not impossible. We need each other. Nobody is insignificant. We belong to each other. And the Lord is allowing us to be together in the ministry to complete each other and not to compete with each other (take note of that please!) We are to be co-workers and not competitors. Surely the mighty hand of God assembled us for such a time as this to fulfill His purposes in our lives and in our beloved church, the IUCC.
My dear brethren, let us commit (or recommit?) ourselves to building bridges between each other, instead of walls. Always remember that teamwork is at the heart of great achievements and God’s abundant blessings! Let us build partnerships under the Lord’s direction for His glory alone.
God richly bless all of us!!!
Sincerely in Christ,
REV. BELINO B. INOCENTES

The Board of Deacons and Deaconesses are continuously doing the weekly visitation of our church members. The group, headed by Deaconess Tessie Guevarra goes house to house praying for our members and sharing the gospel as well. This gives encouragement to our sick members as well as to those who have been missing-out on our Sunday Services. Every Sunday, there is an assigned
deacon and deaconess who is responsible for the social needs of our church members. You could approach them if you have some prayer requests, queries and
suggestions regarding our church activities.

Experiencing God’s presence up to the highest level” is the theme of the Sunday School Department for the year 2007-2008. We are holding on to God’s promise of abundant life to be found in John 10:10. A changed life is what we are praying for to be seen in our Sunday school students. Our IUCC Sunday school consists of 24 classes from pre-school to adult level including the evangelism and 2 leadership classes. These are handled by 24 teachers and 12 assistant teachers who are all committed to save souls for Christ. Praise God for the 12 new converts coming from our evangelism class! Hallelujah! The Sunday school curriculum is based on the spiritual needs of the students as stated in the Sunday School Training module. The Teachers’ Training and Fellowship, Missionary Journey (classroom setting) and Local Bible Quiz are some of the recent activities done by our Sunday school. Let us continue to support our Sunday School by attending every Sunday at 9-10am and praying for the officers and teachers.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.”

With so many youth groups arising today with the purpose of changing the pace of the generation, the IUCC youth won’t let themselves be left out. XCHANGE : the Next-generation youth worship is the IUCC’s answer to the call of today’s generation, with the purpose of winning souls for the sole glory of God and for the expansion of His kingdom. There is worship thru songs, film viewing, group dynamic activities,
invited speakers, and special events held by X-change. This coming November 2007,
X-change is celebrating its 3rd year of God’s never-ending grace and on December 15,2007, we will have a night of
celebration thru a worship concert entitled “X-change: Transformed” with the theme of revival and redemption of the youth generation.
You can worship the Lord without interruption from your child between 0-3yrs old because the Caregivers are here to assist you in taking care and baby sitting your child during worship time.

The Ushering Ministry is one of the ministry that brings the brethren to an orderly level of worship by providing a system that assures a steady flow of the worship services and prayer meetings, and at the same time enhancing the appearance of the worship hall.
This being our main objective makes for an
atmosphere of friendship and oneness of spirit while it also gives an overall good impression on visitors and new-comers. It is our joy to serve all of God’s people as we serve our living God. We thank God for this ministry that He entrusted to us.
The Ushering Ministry continues to encourage each one to join us in this ministry by serving God willingly and being partakers of the joy that is to be revealed.“ Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion but voluntarily according to the will of God and not for sordid gain but with eagerness, to glorify the name of God alone. And God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love which you have showed toward His name.”
Hebrews 6:10
